Recently, ByteBack was invited by Morgan Forney from the City of Town and Country to participate in their annual paper and electronics recycling event. Together, the event enabled hundreds of families in the Town and Country region to responsibly recycle their e-waste and unused paper. In total, an impressive 16,000 pounds of material was collected and recycled.
As a participant and observer, it was one of the smoothest-run events I have seen. I was genuinely impressed not only by the city’s commitment to sustainability, but also by the strong turnout from residents willing to take the extra effort to dispose of their materials responsibly.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Morgan Forney (forneym@town-and-country.org) and Bob Shelton (SheltonB@town-and-country.org) for their critical support in making the event a success. Their coordination of logistics, including managing trucking issues, working with local police, and providing hands-on assistance throughout the day, contributed significantly to the event’s overall efficiency and impact.
I deeply appreciate the city’s ability to engage the community and mobilize such strong participation. It is encouraging to see individuals making environmentally responsible choices, and at ByteBack, we are grateful to be part of a broader effort where others share and support our mission.
