Many devices contain toxic materials like lead, mercury, and Freon, which require special handling and disposal.
At local facilities, it can cost $10–$50 to recycle a single TV or monitor and $20 for smaller items like printers or microwaves.
For many families, that adds up fast.
ByteBack STL raises funds to offset these recycling costs so that money is never the reason someone chooses not to recycle. Your donation helps make responsible e-cycling accessible to everyone in St. Louis.
